Do you have to make reservations to both parks you want to visit on a set day with the hopper pass?

Hey there, Melanie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Isn't it so exciting that park hopping has returned to Walt Disney World? I've missed being able to pop over to Epcot in the evenings for a bite to eat. But, as of today, the wait is officially over. Currently, park hopping does look a bit different than it used to but it's not complicated at all.

Here is a breakdown of how park hopping is currently working:
That's it! There is no need, currently, to make a second park pass reservation for the park you plan on hopping over to. Also, at this time, you are able to hop to multiple parks throughout the day as long as it is after 2:00 p.m. Park to Park transportation resumed today as well, making it very simple for Guests to hop to another park via a bus. Just a heads up though, before entering the bus Cast Members were verifying that each Guest did have valid theme park admission with the park hopping benefit.

Because the return of park hopping is so new, I'd highly suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or coming back here closer to your vacation for a real-time update in case something has changed.

I hope this helps Melanie, happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
