Hi Sheryl! Welcome to planDisney.
Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up in just a few days, and I know just how excited you're getting! Get ready to see the holiday decorations around the theme parks, and beginning to appear around the resort hotels too. The magic is calling!
To make your Theme Park Reservations, you will need to link your Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. I recommend doing this in the
My Disney Experience Mobile app, as there is a barcode scanner that makes it very easy, but the steps are very similar if you're using the desktop version.
In the app, tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right. Then tap "Tickets and Passes." From there, tap the "+" in the top right corner to add your tickets and then select "Link Tickets & Passes." I'm not sure which ticket type you have, but if you have a plastic ticket card, you can tap "Scan Code" to scan the barcode on the back of the ticket. Otherwise, enter the Ticket ID number. If you can't find that, tap "Where is the ID number?" to scroll through a visual of different tickets and where the number can be found. If you have an exchange certificate, be sure to look on the back for the number. Once your number is accepted, follow the steps to link each ticket to each Guest in your party's My Disney Experience profile.
Once all your tickets are linked, it's time to make your
Theme Park Reservations. You will need to be logged in to your My Disney Experience account to access the Disney Park Pass system. There's a helpful video on the Disney Park Pass webpage that walks you through how it all works - just select your date on the calendar and follow the steps.
Sheryl, because the military tickets include the
Park Hopper Option, here's how that works. You must have entered the park at which you have a Theme Park Reservation before hopping to your next theme park. Park Hopper Hours currently begin at 2:00 p.m. each day, but check the
Park Hours for the most up-to-date information. Once Park Hopper Hours begin, you are free to visit another park of your choice, no reservations required (as long as the park hasn't reached capacity).
I hope this helps and you're able to get everything all set as easily as "bibbidi bobbidi boo!" Should you experience any technical difficulties as you walk through the steps, a Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience Help Desk will be happy to assist you. As a military spouse, I have lots of experience using these tickets, so please feel free to
ask me a question directly if you need any additional help.
Thank you for your service to our country, Sheryl. I hope your magical R&R at the Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely wonderful!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
