How do I make reservations with a park hopper? It only allows me to select one park? I am also inquiring about the genie +/lighting lane and how that works. Can i like a magic band to a credit card?

Hi there, Tiffany!  You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

It sounds like you've been busy planning the details of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort trip.  It would be my pleasure to answer your questions today so that you'll be ready for the most magical vacation ever!

Currently, both a valid ticket and a park reservation are required to enter a Walt Disney World theme park.  If your theme park tickets include the Park Hopper option, you will be able to visit multiple parks on the same day.  You will only need to make a theme park reservation for the first park you plan to visit.  You must first enter the park for which you made your reservation, then once park hopping hours begin, you may visit the other theme parks.  Currently, park hopping hours begin at 2:00 P.M., but I recommend checking the park hours calendar or your My Disney Experience mobile app for the most up-to-date information.

Disney Genie+ is a helpful service that can be purchased using your My Disney Experience mobile app on the day of your theme park visit.  Once you have purchased the Disney Genie+ service, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection starting at 7:00 A.M.  When you make your selection, you will be assigned a one-hour time window for a given attraction.  During that time frame, you may access the attraction via the Lightning Lane entrance rather than waiting in the standby queue.  You may make additional Lightning Lane selections, based on availability, throughout the day.  Additional Lightning Lanes can be booked every two hours or once your current selection is redeemed, whichever happens first.  If you click on the "Disney Genie+" link in this answer, you will find some helpful tutorial videos that explain the Disney Genie+ service in more detail.

As for your last question, a credit card cannot be linked to your MagicBand or MagicBand+.  However, if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can use your MagicBand to charge purchases to your resort hotel room.  Just ask a Cast Member at your resort's front desk and they will be able to get this set up for you.

Tiffany, if you have any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please visit us again.  We're all ears!  See ya real soon!
