    Hi, we have 8 am reservations at 1900 park fare breakfast. Does the disney transportation run to cover this, and if not, does the front desk call a cab. Also what would be the max travel time on disney transport from POFQ to GF and in cab Thanks

    Hi Tracey! Disney does understand that many of their guests will have early morning dining reservations at the various resorts.  They will try their hardest to get the guests to the location they need to be on time. Buses will begin running at approximately 6:30am from resorts to do a park run. These buses primarily are for those who need to get to character dining. You might be dropped at the Magic Kingdom to then hop on the resort monorail to get to the Grand Floridian but as you can imagine this will take a big chunk of your morning. Sometimes the bus driver when told where you need to go will actually take you directly to the resort but you can't depend on that. If you need to take the monorail you will need to make almost the complete circle as the Grand Floridian is the last stop from the Magic Kingdom.

    I always suggest guests save the time and let the kids sleep in just a little more and grab a taxi that morning. The actual drive is only about 14 minutes where the early bus can take up to an hour at least.  Your resort valet or bell services can call for you if you wish a cab or you can call yourself. That number is 407-422-2222. They will ask where you are exactly and how many in your party so they are sure to send a vehicle large enough. I have waited about a maximum of 15 minutes for a taxi at any resort if there is not one there already. If the weather is raining it might take longer but generally they are very quick and the service is good.

    My suggestion...taxi!
