Hey Amber! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am so excited to see that you're having dinner at one of my very favorite places.
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is so delicious, you are in for a real treat! It's pretty easy to get from
Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. As you are leaving Magic Kingdom Park head to the right toward the
Resort Monorail. Ride the monorail 3 stops until you get to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, it will only take a few minutes. When you exit the monorail you'll enter Disney's Polynesian Village Resort on the 2nd floor where the restaurant is located. If it were me, I'd plan to be leaving Magic Kingdom Park about 45 minutes prior to your reservation. It certainly won't take that long to get there but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you arrive early, I suggest grabbing a cocktail at
Tambu Lounge while you wait. The Lapu Lapu is my drink of choice, mostly because it's served up in a hollowed out pineapple with an umbrella sticking out of it. You can't get anymore Polynesian than that! When you check-in for your reservation, be sure to ask for a window seat if at all possible. When you are finishing up your meal with an incredible dessert, it will be about time for the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park to start. The restaurant will dim the lights and pipe in music from the show. It's a great way to end a great day!
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
