    We have reservations at Ohana on Jan 17, 2015 at 9:15pm. I heard that you can see the fireworks from this restaurant? Do they dim the lights to see better? And where should we request to sit?

    Hello Danika!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  

    'Ohana, for dinner, is my family's absolute favorite place to eat.  We always try to get a reservation time close to when the fireworks over Magic Kingdom Park are going to be going off.  When the firework show begins, the restaurant dims the lights and pipes in the music from the show.  The best place to sit, is near the windows.  We always try to arrive early for our reservations.  When we check in, we always request a window seat.  Requesting a window seat is not a guarantee that we will get to sit there, but I have to say the Cast Members have always tried their best to accommodate us.  It looks like the Wishes Fireworks is at 10pm when you are dining at 'Ohana.  That is perfect!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
