Hi there, Evelyn! You are in for some pretty sweet treats and some ghoulishly delightful tricks on your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Halloween Time is in full swing! You won't be able to resist a photo with the iconic Mickey pumpkin at the top of Main Street, U.S.A., and Mickey, Minnie, and the gang even got into the spirit and are sporting some brand-new costumes this year!
I am more than happy to be your ghost host through your
ticket and
theme park reservation question. I know navigating this new system can be as windy as a spin through
Haunted Mansion Holiday, especially if it's your first time back to the parks since reopening. It sounds like you have a two-day, multi-day ticket, in which case I have great news! With a multi-day ticket, you will only need to cancel and rebook your theme park reservations for your new dates. Before making any changes, take a look at the
theme park reservation calendar to ensure there is availability on October 28th and 29th. Depending on your ticket type, toggle to the One Park Per Day or Park Hopper calendar. If for some reason you are not seeing availability, keep checking! Guests are always modifying their plans so the calendar can open up!
Changes to reservations can be made by canceling your original and booking a fresh, new one! To begin, head to your Disneyland Mobile App and tap the menu in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "Future Plans" and scroll to the date you'd like to cancel. Follow the prompts until you confirm the cancelation. Once complete, you can start the process anew to make a reservation for your new date. You will likely need to do this twice to move both dates, but the good news is if tickets for your full party are linked to your account, you will be able to select them all to make changes for everyone all at once.
If you happen to be holding two, one-day tickets, these are seasonally priced and fall into tiers. There are
six tiers where Tier 6 has the least amount of blackout dates and Tier 1 has the most. One-day tickets can be upgraded with an in-person visit to the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. One friendly note here is that you will be relying on same-day reservation availability, which could be limited. I would hate for your Doom Buggy to be turned away at the Main Entrance, so if you find yourself in this scenario, give the
Guest Services team a call to discuss your situation directly.
As you get into the happily haunted spirit ahead of your visit, be sure to check out the
Entertainment Schedule ahead of time. You are luckily visiting on a weekend, so you will want to be sure
Halloween Screams is on your to-do list. On the weekends, this projection show becomes extra frightfully fun with fireworks lighting up the night above Sleeping Beauty Castle!
Evelyn, we are always here for you at
planDisney. I know this was a lot to take in, so if you have any follow-up questions feel free to come back to see us! In fact ... hurry back!
Your ghost host,
Tara
