    We have reservations in October to stay at All Star Movies resort and visit the parks. We would like to stay at Port Orleans Riverside but note that it is not open yet. Will it open by October? Will dining plans be available by then?

    William! You came to planDisney at just the right time! I think I might have some great news for you! 

    The Walt Disney World Resort recently announced that both Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter are now accepting bookings! With just a one-day adjustment of your arrival date, you could stay in your resort of choice! Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside will reopen for arrivals beginning October 14th, while Disney’s Port Orleans -  French Quarter will reopen for arrivals beginning October 28th!

    As far as the Disney Dining Plan goes, it will be returning! However, Disney Dining is yet to share a date for the return of this great service! Keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website as well as the Disney Parks Blog for updates!
