Hello, I have reservations for October for my 8yo daughter and myself. We are planning to attend the MNSSHP for the first time. Could you tell me what all the party entails and is there any other Halloween activities attend at WDW while we are there. Thanks

    Hi Beth!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a blast!  It is my favorite hard ticketed event at Walt Disney World.  The party starts at 7pm and runs until midnight.  There is a special parade titled "Boo To You" that should not be missed; it is fabulous.  There is also a special fireworks show called HalloWishes.  There will also be trick or treating stations, dance parties, and a special stage show in front of Cinderella Castle.

When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you should pick up a party map.  It will show the location of all of the activities and also indicate the times.  In years past, there has been two showings of the parade but only one fireworks show.  The second parade is almost always less crowded than the first parade.

I recommend arriving at the Magic Kingdom having already eaten.  You don't want to miss a single minute of the party.

With regards to other Halloween activities, I suggest checking back closer to Halloween.  In years past, there has been some activities in Downtown Disney and at the resort hotels, but those things don't happen every year.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and please write back with more questions!
