Hi Florence,
Welcome to planDisney!
You can actually start planning right now! I’m a big advocate for figuring out what you want out of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation early, so this means planning in advance. You can start exploring Theme Park ticket options and which dining options spark your interest!
If you didn’t purchase
Theme Park tickets through your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, that should be your next step. You can choose from one day tickets, Park Hopper tickets, and even Park Hopper Plus tickets!
While purchasing your tickets, remember you can also add
Disney Genie+ Service in advance. If you purchase the Service while booking your tickets, Disney Genie+ will be added to every day you have a ticket. If you’d only like to have Disney Genie+ for a specific day, you can add that through the
My Disney Experience app. Just search for “My Genie Day”, then tap “Tip Board and My Day”. Under the “My Day” tab, you’ll be able to select “Change Day” and select the day you’d like to purchase the Service. Once you have Disney Genie+, you’ll be able to select your
Lightning Lanes at 7:00 a.m. on the day(s) you have the Service.
Once your Theme Park tickets are purchased, you’ll want to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. These are needed in addition to your Theme Park tickets. You’ll just sign into your My Disney Experience account, go to
Disney Park Pass reservations, select “Theme Park Tickets”, and you’ll be able to make the reservations. One reservation is needed for you and each member in your party for every day that you all have tickets.
Finally, most
dining reservations and
Enchanting Extras can be booked 60 in advance of your stay. I suggest looking through all your options so later this year, you’ll be ready to make your reservations when your window opens.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for the
World’s Most Magical Celebration later this fall.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
