Greetings, Gregg!
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at
planDisney. Your vacation during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is sure to be full of limited-time magic that will make your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth delightfully spooktacular!
As you heard,
Disney California Adventure Park will close early to the general public on select nights due to
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. If you do not have tickets for the event, you will be kindly asked to leave the park beginning at 6:00 p.m. when checkpoints for wristbands are set up at various locations. If you’re not wearing a wristband that indicates you have a ticket for the party, you’ll be directed toward the park exit at that time.
Gregg, I know that having to leave the park earlier than you planned might be less-than-magical news, but if you have the
Park Hopper option added to your
theme park tickets, you will be welcome to head over to
Disneyland Park when Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party gets underway. It will remain open until the regularly-scheduled closing time.
If you don’t have plans to park hop, you can explore the
Downtown Disney District or even head over to one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels to shop or have a tasty meal. If fireworks are offered that evening, you should be able to view some of them and even enjoy the show’s accompanying music from the Esplanade between the entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park!
I hope this answers your question, Gregg, and that your vacation is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please don’t hesitate to
write back with more questions as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
