I have reservations for November 20th and 21st 2024. Is there reserved seating for the Christmas parade or fireworks? How do I make them?

    Hello, Kathy-Ann!

Welcome to planDisney. I am happy you sent your question to us. My most favorite time of year to visit Disneyland Resort is during the holiday season! I love wandering down Main Street, U.S.A. when the windows are adorned with festive lights and Sleeping Beauty Castle is draped in snow. It is the most magical time of year!

Details on Holiday Dining Packages have not been released at this time. In the past, Plaza Inn Dining Packages were available for A Christmas Fantasy Parade. Guests enjoyed their meal and were given a voucher for the reserved viewing area, which was previously located near the Disneyland Railroad station on Main Street, U.S.A. I usually arrived early to the area to get a front-row spot for my kids (and me...I am not very tall!).

Reserved viewing is not typically offered for "Believe...in Holiday Magic" fireworks (or any other fireworks performance in Disneyland Park) in my experience. My family often watches the fireworks from Main Street, U.S.A. or in front of "it's a small world". The projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle can usually be seen on "it's a small world".

Another option would be to book a Fantasmic! Dining Package if they are available. Guests who watch the first Fantasmic! performance of the evening can often stay in the same spot to watch the fireworks. Although Guests cannot see Sleeping Beauty Castle from the Fantamic! viewing area, they can usually watch most of the fireworks, hear the music, and see some of the projections. Current Fantasmic! Dining Package options include Blue Bayou Restaurant (my favorite!), River Belle Terrace, and Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

Dining Package reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland social media pages for information about the upcoming holiday season. Other dining reservations can also be made on the Disneyland mobile app. I recommend downloading the app before your visit. It has a plethora of helpful features, such as park maps, wait times, and entertainment schedules. Guests can also mobile order food from select quick service restaurants. I like pre-ordering my lunch in the morning so my preferred time is available.

Kathy-Ann, have a jolly visit to Disneyland Resort! We hope to see you real soon!

    Believe in Holiday Magic!
