If I make 2 reservations for the same night using my Disney Dining plan, when would I have to cancel one to not get penalized? Or do only certain restaurants charge you if you don't show up? Might not know which to keep until that day. Thanks!

    Hello Pat,

I often have a difficult time deciding where we should eat when at Disney World too!

Fortunately at Disney, most restaurants do not have a fee for canceling a reservation. However, if you have made a reservation for a meal where payment or a credit card was required at the time of booking, a cancellation policy does apply and may result in charges if you cancel with insufficient notice.

There's no penalty for not showing up for an existing reservation (except again those meals where a credit card was required at the time of booking). However, I try to remember that another Guest may have tried to secure that very reservation for his or her family and could not. So if you know you won't be needing that dining reservation, go ahead and cancel. You never know what kind of magic you may be sharing with another family!

If you have any questions about your reservations, know you can always ask here or at Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.

    Hope this helps!
