Hi! I have reservations for next wknd. On Sun. 11/ 21 we planned on going to Epcot in the morning and then Magic Kingdom at 2pm when park hopper opens. It is now saying magic kingdom has no reservations left for the day, so will we be turned away?

Hi, Lindsey! Welcome to planDisney from a fellow Sunshine Stater!

Oh my turkey drumsticks! Your autumn visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a week from today. I'm sure you're going to have a truly magical day in the parks!

Checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar just now, it's definitely starting to look like a holiday week. You're right that next Sunday, November 21, is shaded in yellow on the calendar because the Magic Kingdom Park has no more reservations available right now. But that doesn't necessarily mean your plans are derailed. While it is possible that park hopping will be limited if the parks reach capacity, it's been pretty rare that it actually happens. In fact, the only time the Magic Kingdom has not allowed park hopping this year was on October 1, during the 50th Anniversary Celebration. My guess is that you'll likely be just fine. To make sure you can head to the Magic Kingdom Park in the afternoon, keep an eye on the Park Hours section of your My Disney Experience mobile app on the day you're visiting. If park hopping is canceled that day, you'll see it there. Also, you should receive notifications on your phone through the app if there's news about park hopping.

Lindsey, I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to tour the World at EPCOT and live the dream at the Magic Kingdom Park! I wish you faith, trust, and pixie dust for an amazing Disney day!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
