Why hello there, Susan! Thanks so much for taking the time to bring us your ticket question!
I'm sorry to hear that one of your Guests will not be able to visit The Happiest Place on Earth with you. What a bummer! I hope you are happy to know that you can transfer this ticket for someone else to use as long as it is a wholly unused ticket. If you already assigned a name to that ticket on your app, I wouldn't worry too much. A ticket doesn't actually get assigned to anyone officially until you scan the ticket for the first time to enter the parks. There a Cast Member will take your picture and that is how the ticket is assigned. The name attached to the ticket in the
Disneyland app is more or less just helpful for you to keep tickets straight from one another.
If you want this new Guest to link the ticket to their account, just share the ticket ID number with them and it should be able to be added to their Disney account without any issues. Tickets can be added and linked to more than one Disney account.
If you want the name changed or the ticket deleted from an account, you will have to have a
Cast Member assist you with this. I've found the easiest way to do minor things like this is to use the chat feature in the Disneyland app. To find this, click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the. app. Scroll to the bottom of this. page and the last block on the right should be, "Chat with Us". Then you can start a chat message and even close out of the app and you will receive a notification when a Cast Member is available to assist you.
Susan, I hope through whatever hiccups you've encountered with your party changing, you are able to have the most magical visit to Disneyland Resort! See you real soon!
Carrie
