Hi Nicola!
Welcome back to planDisney.
It is always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I am excited to see that your holiday is literally just around the corner!
The good news is that no reservations are required for either of these fantastic shows! For the
First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration showtimes can be seen here. I would arrive at the theater in Echo Lake around 30 minutes before your preferred showtime. Seating for
Fantasmic! opens around 90 minutes before the show starts.
I have enjoyed Fantasmic! many times - it really is a great way to end your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I always book a
Fantasmic! Dining Package. This gives you the choice of booking one of five restaurants (
50's Prime Time Cafe,
Hollywood & Vine,
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano,
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater or
The Hollywood Brown Derby) for dinner, and your VIP seating at Fantasmic! is guaranteed within a reserved section (
on a first-come, first-served basis), for no extra cost, and you don't need to arrive until around at least 25 minutes prior to the show. If you are planning on dining at Disney's Hollywood Studios anyway, this is a great way to utilise your time at the park, enjoy dinner, and have less waiting time before the show with guaranteed seats! You will receive your seating voucher at the restaurant and the entrance to your reserved seating is located on Sunset Boulevard next to Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage (which is another great show!). When you make your reservation, please ensure you select the Fantasmic! Dining Package, and not just a regular dining reservation.
If you are using the
Disney Dining Plan, you can use your Table-Service entitlements for this meal (1 Table-Service meal for each restaurant except The Hollywood Brown Derby which requires 2 Table-Service meals for each guest).
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can
send me a direct question if you wish. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World!
Sue
