Hi Leonard and welcome back to planDisney!
One of the things I most enjoy during my Walt Disney World vacation is the food! There are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from, so picking which ones you would like to experience is the hardest part.
Advance dining reservations open 60 days in advance and guests staying at a
Disney Resort hotel have the added perk of being able to make up to 10 days of dining reservations on that very first day. Making those dining reservations is not directly tied to the number of people listed on your reservation, so you can include your entire family.
I see that you will be visiting during December, which is my favorite time of year at Walt Disney World. There are so many amazing special holiday events going on. My family loves to attend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party every year. The snickerdoodle cookies at last year's party were so delicious, I kept going back for more.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is a fantastic experience to learn different holiday traditions from around the world. The
Holiday Cookie Stroll is a must-do for my kids. Can you tell we love cookies? There is no need for dining reservations during the Festival of the Holidays with the amazing offerings from the
Holiday Kitchens. I can't wait until I can get a peek at the kitchen menus for this year.
A yearly tradition for my family is to get a personalized ornament from the
Disney Days of Christmas shop in Disney Springs. Experiencing the
Holidays at Disney Springs is a great way to spend some time away from the parks and take a stroll through the Christmas Tree Trail to see all of the beautifully themed trees. The Haunted Mansion tree is my favorite! I am crossing my fingers the Christmas Tree Trail returns for this year's holiday season.

Have a magical day!
