If we make reservations 6 months in advance, in order to make dining reservations, will we be able to take advantage of future discounts or offers Disney provides?

    Hi Robert,

You are on the right track with booking the most popular restaurants at the 180 day mark! I'd also suggest going ahead and booking your resort package to ensure your favorite resort is available. If you find a certain discount appealing later on, call Disney directly and ask for them to apply it to your reservation as the discount won't automatically be applied to an existing reservation.

In the past, I've been successful in calling Disney to adjust which discount is applied to my reservation, however it  will all depend on the restrictions, as some may only to apply to specific Resort Hotels, etc.

The only word of caution is to request your changes well in advance. The closer you get to your arrival date, the higher chance of penalty fees associated with altering the reservation.

With the new My Disney Experience features of the website, you'll simply manually add your Advanced Dining Reservation numbers to link both your resort and dining itineraries. It's very simple and convenient!

I hope my answer was helpful, Robert, and please fee free to ask us further planning questions.
