I have reservations for the month of September. I am a government employee and was made aware of benefits from being a state employee. Is this something you can help me with? Thank you

    Hi Diana!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you're hEAR. Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way!

Oh boy! Your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is so soon! Be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog as they post often about what to expect for fall as Mickey's house gets gourd-geous, and slightly ghostly, this time of yEAR. You can even follow them across all of your social media networks so you'll never miss a story!

This is a tricky question as there are special offers, discounts and deals made and approved by Mickey, and then there are other benefits made available for and only able to be seen by select groups. I have a sneaking suspicion that the offers which you hEARd about fall into the latter category. (I'm a Military wife and there are often deals made available to us through the base that aren't listed on the Disneyland.com website.) Your best bet is to see if you can find out anything through an HR or benefits person where you work, or perhaps ask around in your office message board; some companies use a third-party service called Tickets at Work, and others might have connections with specific travel agencies, etc. Once you hEAR from someone which direction to look, then depending on the offer, you might be able to "upgrade" what you currently have booked into what's available to you through work.

If one of the perks is a special rate for a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you should be able to call the Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation Helpline and apply the promo to an already-booked Guest room. Their phone number is (714) 956-6425. While existing Theme Park Admission Tickets are usually unable to be exchanged or upgraded by third-party agencies, at least you'll know what offers are available to you for your next visit to Mickey's house!

I'm so sorry that this answer wasn't as clEAR as we both would want it to be, Diana. If you find out more about your government employee Disney options and write us back, we'd love to assist further!
