reservations for May 2014, Pop, which building to request to be closest to the buses w/o paying for preferred room? We are traveling with 3 kids under 6 and grandparents. Requested connected rooms, and ground floor, are these too many requests? Thanks

    Hi Jonathan!

Disney's Pop Century is one of my families favorite value resorts, we just love the colorful icons from the different decades!  When making room requests one thing to keep in mind is the more requests you make, the less likely that all of them will be met.  When rooms are assigned to guests, a cast member will look at preferences and find available rooms that meet the most requests.  If you are looking for connecting ground floor rooms close to transportation, the cast member may only have connecting rooms close to transportation that is located on the third floor.  Realistically, it is best to try to keep your request to a minimum and prioritize what is most important, you have a much better chance of them being fulfilled this way.

My family and I stayed in building 3 located in the 50's section a few years back and it was very close to Classic Hall which houses the font desk, food court and gift shop.  More importantly it was a short walk to the bus stops which are located just outside of Classic Hall. While a portion of the building is considered preferred, the entire building is not and made this a short walk to everything.  I would absolutely avoid the 80's and 90's sections of Pop Century, they are the farthest out and really work best if you will have your own transportation.

Thanks so much for visiting us at Disney Parks Moms Panel and please let me know if you have anymore questions for your upcoming vacation!

    Best Wishes!
