We have reservations for lunch at Whispering Canyon/Wilderness Lodge, followed by MVMCP tickets. Is it possible to park at the Lodge for lunch and take the ferry to the party? (We do have a handicap placard.) Or will we need to drive back to the MK lot?

    Hi Jeffrey!
    Welcome to planDisney.

The Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of my favourite places to eat (in fact I just enjoyed dinner there, this evening!).  There are a lot of shenanigans - usually more during the dinner service than at lunchtime - but you can always join in, or just spectate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with!  The servers work really hard to give everyone an enjoyable time!

For guests with dining reservations at the resort, parking is permitted for a limited time.  It usually wouldn't be allowed for the amount of time required to have lunch, and then attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park.  I know it's an easy commute (just slightly longer than 8 minutes) but you will need to think of alternative arrangements.

I would park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), and head to the Magic Kingdom entrance by monorail or ferryboat.  From there you'll see the Resort Launches and can board one for Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  After your lunch you can return on the boat (red flag) to Magic Kingdom to enjoy your party, and then head back to the TTC when it's time to go home.  Party guests may enter the park from 4.00pm, and the party starts for real at 7.00pm.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We are always happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
