    We want to make reservations for the lightsaber building but have no idea if or when we will get a boarding pass for RoR. Whatdo we do if our boarding pass happens at the same time. That is alot of money to lose on a cancellation fee

    Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is one of my family's favorite lands at Walt Disney World Resort. When you visit Black Spire Outpost, you are truly living your Star Wars adventure, and it's amazing. Be sure to take time to really explore the land, taste the local fare, see the citizens as they appear throughout, and look around for Disney details. 

    My family was in the situation you're describing on your trip this summer, and I have an answer that I hope will have you feeling as relieved as Leia felt when Luke appeared in her cell with the news, "I'm here to rescue you." The Cast Members at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance understand that reservations for dining and experiences like Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot are hot commodities. If your Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens up during your Savi's Workshop reservation, don't worry. Just show your Savi's reservation on your My Disney Experience mobile app when you arrive at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and they will allow you to join the Resistance, even if your Boarding Group window has closed.

    I know that some of this planning can feel more stressful than having the plans to the Death Star. Feel free to check in with a Cast Member at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the day of your visit if it looks like your Boarding Group time might overlap with your other reservation; they can reassure you and explain the current process. Also, please know that on my recent visit we were able to get Boarding Groups on both our days at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Be sure to have the My Disney Experience mobile app ready right at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. (from inside the park). My husband and I actually got our Boarding Group while riding Toy Story Mania! one day - we felt like Jedis!
