Welcome to planDisney, Jose!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. Character dining is one of my favorite things to do on Disney vacation, especially if you have young kids. My two Mousekteers absolutely adore having the characters come by their table for a high five and a hug.
My children really enjoy
Goofy's Kitchen at the
Disneyland Hotel. You get to take a really cool photo with Chef Goofy before you even sit down at your table. It's very special!
Jose, the way to make
dining reservations is through the Disneyland website or mobile app. It's certainly possible to book a table for a group your size. However, as you can imagine, there is a limited amount of seating for large groups. You can certainly try to make a reservation for 12 people and see what happens. I've actually had success making a reservation for 12 people at Goofy's Kitchen in the past. Alternatively, you can try making two reservations, each for 6 people. It's often much easier to get dining reservations for smaller groups. You could then try and modify one of those reservations to 12 people. If it's not possible to modify your reservation, on the day of your visit, you can always explain to a Cast Member that you're part of one big group and request to be sat near one another. It's not always possible, but it's worth asking! Cast Members usually try everything within their power to make it a magical experience for the Guests.
I hope that's helpful, Jose. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. Have a great time!
Mike
