Hi there, Latisha, and welcome to planDisney!
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is on my list of restaurants to try at Magic Kingdom Park. I just walked past there last week, and it reminded me that I need to check it out soon! I hear that the food is very flavorful and adventurous. Latisha, then you're going to follow the meal with a visit to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!? What a magical itinerary!
I'll start by saying that it is indeed a short walk between Adventureland and Fantasyland, so getting from one place to another will be easy peasy. And overall, like other non-character dining table service experiences, it should take about an hour to enjoy the food and take in the cool decor. Of course, it could take a little longer, so I do have some tips for you.
As your dining reservation date nears, and even on the day of, keep checking your
My Disney Experience app to see if you can modify the time from 5:30 p.m. to something a bit earlier for your party size. This method is how my husband and I went from a very late dining reservation at
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort to the absolutely perfect time to view the fireworks while eating.
Another option to possibly lengthen the gap between both reservations is to check in to Skipper Canteen as early as possible (up to 15 minutes prior to your reservation time). Perhaps, that way, you can be seated a little earlier, get your grub on, and walk over to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
AN EXTRA GEM: In the
My Disney Experience app, you can actually find the walking distances (or drive time) and directions between any two points on property. Open the app, and click on the map pinpoint icon. Find "Attractions" in the dropdown menu, select your desired attraction, and click "Get Directions." I just tested out your two locations, and it's only a 3-minute walk. Oh, yeah!
I hope that you found this information helpful, Latisha. And if you have any Disney vacation planning questions, please
give me a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
