Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We have reservations on June 23, 2012 at 7:45 am with our son (7) and daughter (4) for Chef Mickey. We will be staying at the CBR and I was wondering will the bus take us directly there and how early do we have to leave, to make it on time. Thxs

    Hi, William!

    Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is a great way to start off a day of magic!  There are buses running early to get guests to their character meals, so plan to be at the nearest bus stop at your resort by 7:00 a.m.   You will want to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, and from there you can either walk over to the Contemporary Resort  or you can hop on the Resort Monorail and exit at its first stop.  Both walking and the monorail take about 15 minutes, so you choose your route!

    Now, *sometimes*, depending on how busy the buses are, if you let your bus driver know you are going to the Contemporary, they will make a special stop right at the Contemporary so you don't have to trek over from the Magic Kingdom.  If this happens, give your driver a huge "thank you" but if not, please understand the buses need to stay on schedule.
