Hi there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney! It's so exciting that you're here today with this great question about planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You're officially in countdown mode, and I'm so glad that you're gearing up to make some
Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you're able.
Stephanie, the options you're currently considering are all ones that I'd recommend. On the morning that your 60-day window opens, be ready to log in and make the reservation right at 6:00 am. Search
'Ohana on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and click "Reserve Dining." Enter your party size and select the date range of your visit (up to 10 days). You'll have better luck the further into your reservation you look. If you don't see a table for a party of nine, making two reservations is the next best choice. Since you can only make one reservation for a specific time, ask another member of your travel party to book one alongside you from their account or call a helpful
Cast Member for assistance. Enlisting a helper will increase your chances of being able to get all of the bookings you need.
When traveling with a large group, we often make multiple dining reservations and politely ask to be seated together when we check in at the restaurant. There are times we've been pleasantly surprised and been able to sit at one large table. Other times, we've been at separate tables close to each other, and sometimes, we're in completely different areas. Even if that's the case, making sure everyone eats at the same time helps us stay on the same schedule throughout the day.
Stephanie, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation. If you'd like any recommendations on where to find more amazing dining experiences, you have a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
