Hi Michael,
"Welcome Home"! Hearing a Cast Member say that to me never gets old, and it sounds like you are cut from the same cloth and are as excited to visit "Home" as I am this summer.
Currently, Guests may make
Advanced Dining Reservations up to 60 days in advance of their trip. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, then 60 days prior to your check-in you may make reservations for the entirety of your trip up to 10 days. If you are staying off the Walt Disney Resort property, then you will make your reservations one day at a time. Guests are not required to have a
Theme Park Ticket already purchased in order to make an Advanced Dining Reservation at this time.
Michael in order to enter a theme park, Guests need a both valid theme park ticket and a
Disney Park Pass Reservation. The Disney Park Pass reservation does not cost anything, but you cannot make a reservation without first having a valid theme park ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account. The Disney Park Pass System is a way to manage capacity in each of the theme parks and thereby promote physical distancing. If you check out this
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar you will notice that all theme parks still have availability for your vacation dates at this time. As soon as your plans are firm, I encourage you to purchase theme park tickets and make your Disney Park Pass reservations. Likely you will want to do this farther in advance than when your 60 day Advanced Dining Reservations become available to book. Currently Guests may purchase theme park tickets and make Disney Park Pass reservations through early January 2022.
I hope this information helps you with your summer vacation plans! If you have any further questions or are looking for vacation planning tips, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney. We are Disney fans, just like yourself, and are always excited to help you plan your next Magical adventure.
