I have reservations for horseback riding at Fort Wilderness! I would like to make dining reservations for after the ride. How long is the entire horseback riding experience is? If I am booked for a 9:30am horseback ride, what time will I be done?

Hi Stacy, and welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! What a time to visit in the coming weeks, especially knowing that you are almost at the end of the planning phase of your vacation planning.

I love that you already have a fun activity in place because Horseback Riding is such a wonderful experience, and the fact that this activity includes views of the wooded trails at The Cabins and Campsites of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort makes the backdrop scenery that much more impressive. The horseback trail rides last 45 minutes, so with a 9:30 AM appointment, you can look at the completion of the ride ending around 10:15 AM, which gives them time to prepare for the next riders at 11:00 AM. If you want to schedule your dining reservation, I recommend making it for around noon. This time can vary depending on where you want to enjoy your meal. I hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical experience!
