Hi! We have reservations for the Hoop-de-doo revue next week, and are so excited! What would be the best way to get from the Grand Floridian to the Fort Wilderness Resort. Thank you!!

    Hi Michael,

The closer your Walt Disney World vacation gets, the harder it is to wait! But you are so close now.

You have a couple of options to get from the Grand Floridian to Fort Wilderness, but the one I think is easiest is to take the monorail to the Contemporary, then catch the boat to Fort Wilderness from the e dock directly behind the hotel.

Boats depart every 20 minutes or so to both Fort Wilderness and Wildernss Lodge so you will want to be sure you get on the right one. The boat will dock at Fort Wilderness very close to Pioneer Hall and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue.

You also could take the boat or monorail from Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom and transfer to a Fort Wilderness boat there, but I think that is slightly more cumbersome.

I hope that is helpful. Wishing you a wonderful visit and a great time at Hoop-Dee-Doo. Enjoy!
