We have reservations for Hoop Dee Doo and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. We are not staying in a Disney resort. What is the best way to get to Camp Wilderness for these events. Thanks

Hello Leslie!  Since you are staying off site, I'm assuming you will have access to a car.  I'm not sure where your starting point is but you may want to use a site such as MapQuest to get specific directions from your starting point.  The address for Fort Wilderness is:

    4510 North Fort Wilderness Trail
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Generally speaking, you'll want to follow the sings to the Magic Kingdom area.  You will then see signs for the various resorts, just follow the signs that will lead you to Fort Wilderness.  Once you are there, you will want to take the inner bus for Fort Wilderness to Hoop De Doo and Mickey's Backyard BBQ (Pioneer Hall/Pavilion drop off - your bus driver can assist you on when to exit the bus).

As a side note, if you  happen to be traveling with a GPS, mousesavers.com offers a great download that contains many POIs on Disney property.  The download is free and I highly recommend it for a foolproof way to navigate around Disney.

Please let us know if you have follow-up questions.  Diane  :)
