Hello!! We have reservations for Hollywood & Vines Character Lunch, the Luau and Tusker House Character Breakfast. Our daughter will be 22 months. Should we do a dining plan? They told me it avg. to about $53/person/day.

    Hi Sarah,

My family are big fans of the Disney Dining Plan and really do feel that it is a great convenient money-saving benefit available exclusively to Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels.

As you have a number of character meals and a dinner show already booked, it is certainly worth considering adding the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package.

Based on the prices shown in the UK official Walt Disney World 2012 travel brochure, $53.00 per adult per day seems about right, so I would suggest that you add up the estimated cost of the meals which you have booked already (using the menus on www.allears.net for a guide on restaurant pricing) and you will then be able to see if it is worth adding the Disney Dining Plan or to just pay for those meals out of pocket.

One other thing to note is that the Disney Dining Plan is unavailable for Guests under the age of 3. Your Daughter may share from an adult plate at no charge or a meal may be purchased from the menu for her in which case the price of the meal will be added to your bill.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
