Hi Linda,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with a great question!
If you booked a vacation package with the Walt Disney World Resort, you just need to take the reservation confirmation number and link it in
My Disney Experience. If you have not yet created a My Disney Experience account, go ahead and create one. Then,
link the confirmation number. Once linked, you should be able to click on My Plans in My Disney Experience, scroll down to the reservation information, and you should see a link that says Make a Payment. Click on that link to make a payment.
If you booked through a third-party vendor, you would need to contact that vendor to make a payment. Just be sure to note the due date that the vacation package must be paid in full. Once I have that vacation package linked in My Disney Experience, I make payments until it's time to have the balance paid in full. And the beauty of My Disney Experience is that I can make those payments at any time of day or night!
When your vacation package is linked in My Disney Experience, you can make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. I suggest that you make those reservations as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar if you decide that you want to change park pass reservations in the future. At this point, you have to cancel existing park pass reservations to make new ones. Be sure to check the
operational updates to note any changes to the park pass reservation system or other policies and procedures.
As you continue to plan, also review the
dining options and consider making
advanced dining reservations. Currently, the
dining reservation window opens 60-days prior to your visit. My family always maps out our dining reservations before our 60-day window opens and then we are
online by 5:45 a.m. on day 60 starting to make reservations.
Linda, I hope this helps! We look forward to welcoming you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
