We have reservations at be our guest, can I request room? Also will Beast be in Library for social distancing Selfies? Thank you🥰

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Yvonne. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few, short days! You must be super excited for all the pixie-dusted adventures you're about to experience.

Well done on getting that dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This hard-to-book restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park is one of my family's favorites in all of Walt Disney World Resort! After all, what could be better than dining on French-inspired fare in an enchanted castle?

Let's chat about your questions! You may certainly request a specific room to dine in when you check-in for your reservation. Requesting a room may increase your wait time to be seated, but you may explore the foyer or the knight-lined hallway while you wait. You can even cozy up to the fireplace in the library as you wait for your table! If I had to choose my favorite dining room, I would pick The Grand Ballroom. I just love the high, domed ceiling and watching the falling snow outside the beautiful windows. The rest of my family, however, would choose The West Wing. My sons, especially, appreciate the dark lighting and mysterious atmosphere. On our most recent visit to Be Our Guest Restaurant, we were seated in The Castle Gallery. I was initially a bit disappointed, but we loved being surrounded by all the beautiful artwork!

At this time, Beast is not greeting Guests in the library. Rather, he makes a few rounds throughout the restaurant to greet Guests from a distance. When we dined in The Castle Gallery, he came in to wave three times during our meal. He didn't stop by tables, but we were able to get quite a few good selfies with him in the background!

Will you be dining with any picky eaters? My oldest and youngest kiddos are quite picky (my middle child will eat anything, thank goodness!), and they both had a difficult time choosing side dishes from the menu. Our Server was very accommodating and offered kid-friendly options that were not listed on the menu like french fries. Be sure to ask about any substitutions!

I hope this was helpful, Yvonne. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
