Hi! We have reservations for Goofy's Kitchen for dinner on one of our park days. What is the best way to get there? We plan on returning to one of the parks after dinner ;)

Hi, Emily! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.

Dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen has quickly become one of my family’s favorite character meals! You’ll be glad to know that it’s super easy to get to Goofy’s Kitchen from anywhere at the Disneyland Resort. If you will be coming from the parks, take a stroll through the Downtown Disney District. You will see a giant Sorcerer Mickey hat that signals you have made it to the Disneyland Hotel. Keep walking straight from that point, pass by the pools on your left, and then you will see a large plate that says Goofy’s Kitchen. To visit the parks after dinner, simply head back the way you came.

Another option to get to and from the restaurant is to hop aboard the Disneyland Monorail. This works best if you are leaving Disneyland Park as the monorail picks up in Tomorrowland. It will then drop you off at the monorail station in the Downtown Disney District. From there, turn right and walk the remaining steps to the Disneyland Hotel. Check the wait time for the monorail on the Disneyland app before boarding for your dinner reservation. It’s possible that it might be quicker to walk to the restaurant than to wait for the monorail. You can also take the monorail back into the park after dinner. Keep in mind that if you have a one park per day ticket, you will need to have spent the earlier part of the day enjoying Disneyland Park in order to take the monorail to or from dinner. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, then you aren’t limited at all.

I hope this helps. Please stop by again if you have any other questions about your adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth!
