The reservations are full but I have a magic key. Can I show up to the park and be able to get in without the reservation?

Hello there, Veronica. Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for taking the time to swing by planDisney with your question for us. There are many perks to being a Magic Key holder, including discounts at select dining and merchandise locations. With the ability to take frequent trips to the Happiest Place on Earth, saving a bit on food, beverages and merchandise can add up during your many visits.

In order to enter the parks, you will need a valid theme park reservation despite being a Magic Key holder. Even though the reservations are currently full for the date you wish to visit, people’s plans may change, and they may cancel their theme park reservations. I recommend that you keep checking the theme park reservation availability calendar as sometimes Disney may also open up more Magic Key reservations. Additionally, don’t forget to check to make sure the day you plan to visit is not a block out date, depending on your Magic Key pass type

I wish you the best of luck and I hope theme park reservations become available soon. If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to drop by planDisney again.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
