We have reservations at Fort Wilderness and we also have tickets to Epcot on that day. Can we park for free at Epcot in the morning while we are waiting for our campsite become available?

    Hi Linda. Welcome to planDisney!

I love it when I get to answer questions from a Guest whose trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner. So exciting! And I know you're going to have a great trip because not only are you asking good questions, but you are starting off your vacation right by immediately going into the parks. Talk about maximizing your time at the resort!

You can begin to take advantage of the perks available to you as a Guest of one of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels on the day of check-in and the day of check-out. This means you will be able to park at your resort and the theme parks the day you check in. All you should have to do is ensure you have either checked into your resort in person or checked into your resort online through the My Disney Experience mobile app. You can do this any time after you've booked your stay up to 72 hours before your check-in date. Once you've logged into the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, select "Future Plans," and underneath your resort reservation, select "Start Check-In Now." Then follow the prompts!

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are such a fun and unique option for your stay. Not only that but there are so many awesome recreation options at this resort to check out. You're not going to want to miss the opportunity to check out the Tri-Circle-D RanchChip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, and the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience. This is a resort that is definitely on my bucket list, especially because I've visited it a few times and just love the atmosphere. Of course, if you've never checked out the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, it's a classic and not to be missed!

Linda, if you have any other questions, please reach out again. We are always happy to help!

Always let your conscience be your guide,
    Matt
