We have reservations at Fort Wilderness for 3 adults. 2 of us want to add the dining plan, 1 doesn’t. Do we have to purchase the dining plan for everyone or can just 2 of us purchase it?

    Hi Judy!

You are going to love staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for your upcoming vacation! I love this Disney Resort hotel because it has amazing food, a beautiful location and awesome recreational activities for you to enjoy during your trip. Plus, it's so nice to use complimentary boat transportation to get to Magic Kingdom!

The Disney dining plans are a fantastic addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I recently enjoyed a trip to visit Mickey with my best girlfriends and it was so nice to be on the dining plan because the majority of our dining expenses were paid in advance of our vacation! When you add a dining plan to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you will receive a set of dining entitlements for each Guest who is 3 years old and above on your Disney Resort hotel reservation per night of your reservation. Unfortunately, there is no way to add a dining plan for only a subset of the Guests on your hotel reservation, so if you add it to your trip, it must be added for all three of you.

Keep in mind that there are a variety of dining plans to choose from to match your dining preferences. So if one Guest on your reservation isn't sure they will use a lot of dining entitlements, you could consider adding the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation, which has a good mix of quick-service entitlements, table service entitlements and snacks for you to use flexibly throughout your vacation!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app for your trip because it's the easiest way to manage your dining entitlements if you are on one of the dining plans. Plus, you can also use it to manage all of your vacation reservations during your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
