How can I make reservations for the firework show at Disneyland?

    Hi there, Sergio!

Welcome to planDisney. I am glad you sent your question to us!

Getting an up-close view of Disneyland Park's fireworks displays is a magical way to end a delightful day at Disneyland Resort! In my experience, reservations are not typically offered to view fireworks in Disneyland Park except as part of a Disneyland Resort VIP Tour. These incredible tours come with a private tour guide who accompanies Guests through the theme parks while ensuring they have the most special day! Guests on the VIP Tour can usually request to access reserved viewing areas for any nighttime spectaculars showing at Disneyland that day (subject to availability). Keep in mind that fireworks only take place on select days, and are subject to cancellation (often related to the weather). VIP Tours typically have an hourly fee, with a minimum of seven hours required for the experience. You can contact Disneyland VIP Tours to make a reservation if that interests you.

Without a VIP Tour, I recommend arriving early if you want to view the fireworks while standing close to Sleeping Beauty Castle. You can also view the fireworks from almost any spot along Main Street, U.S.A., and most of the fireworks can also be seen from the area around the Rivers of America. If traveling to a galaxy far, far away is more your style, you may want to check out Fire of the Rising Moons with Fireworks in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. It provides a unique view of the fireworks! Just check the Hours & Events Calendar to see if fireworks are scheduled to take place on the day of your visit.

Other nighttime spectaculars do have reserved viewing areas! My family enjoys both the Fantasmic! Dining Packages and the World of Color Dessert Party (where you can watch the show, relax in a real chair, and snack on some tasty treats!). Guests can usually book a spot up to 60 days ahead on the Disneyland website.

Sergio, I’m sorry if this isn’t the news you were expecting! I truly hope you get to experience one of Disneyland Resort’s amazing nighttime spectaculars soon!

    Magic Happens!
