Have 8:30 AM reservations. Every time I make a reservation I'm told to allow 90 mins car travel within the parks, arrive 15 mins early & allow 15 mins for walk time to the restaurant. Should we really leave hotel at 6:30 AM for 8:30 AM b-fast reservati

    Hi Melissa!

My family is not a hop-up-early-and-happy one so we have never left our room two entire hours before a breakfast reservation. Typically the hour and a half travel time refers to buses and includes time you might spend waiting at the bus stop. The actual amount of time you will need depends on where you are staying and eating. If your resort is Disney's Polynesian Resort and your breakfast is at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort a quick monorail ride will get you there on time. If you are staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and you have booked breakfast with Disney princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom you will need to allow much more time. To walk from your room to the parking lot, drive to the Magic Kingdom, park, ride the tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center, transverse the TTC, board a monorail or ferry to the park, go through bag check and the turnstile, walk across the park to Cinderella Castle, and then check in at the restaurant podium will take at least a good hour and a half.

If you would like a better approximation of how much travel time you need to reach your breakfast destination, please contact me with the name of your resort and restaurant and I will be happy to help you.
