Do I have to make reservations to eat at the restaurants in advance? Will they just take you if you just show up or is it mandatory to have reservations everywhere?

Hi Ida! If you are looking to experience table service restaurants, then you are definitely better off making Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR). It is more frequently the case you can't get walk-up, or even same day reservations. This is particularly true of Disney dining locations inside the theme parks, the ever popular Disney Character Dining restaurants, Dinner Shows, and many Fine/Signature Dining locations. This scenario is primarily due to the increased popularity of the Disney Dining Plan. You can book ADR 180 days prior to arrival by calling (407) WDW-DINE or you can make reservations online. Having said that, it is always possible to find nutritious, yet delicious meals, at several Disney Casual Dining restaurants and Disney Quick Service Dining eateries around the World. These dining locations do not require ADR. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
