Welcome to planDisney, Teresa! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Your ticket type is an important trip of planning your trip to Walt Disney World, and I'm happy to walk you through the choices you have for
adding the Park Hopper option to your ticket.
The first and easiest way to gain the ability to park hop is to upgrade your two-day ticket to a Park Hopper. This will give you the ability to bounce around between all four Theme Parks at your leisure for both days of your trip. If this isn't ideal for you, you do have one more option. If you want to upgrade your ticket to include the Park Hopper option, you can do that partway through your stay. If you choose to add this option, it needs to be added to
all remaining unused days of your ticket, but since your ticket is only for two days, you can use the first day to visit one park and then upgrade the second day of your ticket to include the Park Hopper option. To do this, just visit a ticket window at any of the Theme Parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, but remember that this needs to happen after you have already used the first day of your two-day ticket. The best time to do this would be in the morning of your second day in the Theme Parks, or you can try to catch an open ticket window on the evening of your first day.
I can't give you an exact price for your ticket upgrade since it depends on what days and parks you're visiting and what type of ticket you have, but you can check the difference by going through the upgrade process in the
My Disney Experience app, just exit before you complete the purchase. The Cast Member at the ticket window will also provide you with all the details when you speak to them on the day you want to upgrade!
I hope this answers your question, Teresa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
