Hiya, Cheryl!
I sure hope you can make it to the Disneyland Resort on your originally-planned date. But if not, hakuna matata! It means, “no worries!”
Although Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets are
nonrefundable, the
theme park reservation associated with a ticket may be canceled and rebooked for another day that the ticket is still valid, subject to
theme park reservation availability. A ticket is valid until all of the days of the ticket are used or until the expiration indicated at the time of purchase. Additionally, multi-day park tickets expire 13 days after the first day they are used and one-day park tickets are valid on the dates not blocked out for their
ticket tier.
An existing theme park reservation may be canceled up until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the day before your reservation. If you don’t happen to cancel before the day of the reservation and find that you can’t go on that day, you will need to wait until the next day for that unused reservation to automatically clear from your ticket. After a reservation is canceled or cleared from a ticket, you will be free to make your new reservation for another valid and available date. To do so, tap the ‘+” button on the bottom of the screen in the
Disneyland mobile app and select “Make a Park Reservation.” Or visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page on the Disneyland Resort website.
Tony’s Tip: I hope you can use your ticket when you originally plan or on another valid date. But if your ticket should expire before you can use it, note that a
wholly-unused ticket will retain its value, even after its expiration. To use an expired, wholly-unused ticket, you may stop by a main entrance ticket booth to upgrade to a new ticket of equal or greater value. You pay only the difference in price at that time.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Cheryl!
