    Hello i have reservations for Disneyland park on Sunday the 9th i need to know which kind of covid test i can use to present a negative result can it be a home kit or does it have to come from a medical office? Also how long before do i take it?

    Hi Cecilia! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for asking this question! I'm happy to see you are arriving at The Happiest Place on Earth tomorrow! Oh, happy day!

    There is some important information that you should know before you go. At this time, it is not required that guests of any age present a negative test or be vaccinated to enter Disneyland Resort. However, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. I also found this statement from the Disneyland Website to be helpful. "As always, our procedures may change as we continue to follow guidance from the state of California and local health officials, so check back to this page for the latest updates."

    Another important thing to know as you arrive is that all Guests (ages 2 and up) must wear face coverings when indoors, including while on many attractions and in all enclosed transportation vehicles, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional in outdoor common areas for all Guests.
