I can't think of a more magical way to celebrate your daughter's 4th birthday than at the "Happiest Place on Earth!" I'm sorry you weren't able to secure a reservation at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, however, I do encourage you to keep checking for available reservations all the way up to your trip.
If your daughter loves the Disney Princesses, I highly recommend taking her into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shop and letting her select a Princess gown and accessories of her choice! Even if she does not receive the full makeover, she will still feel like royalty in a brand new Princess gown. You also can ask a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice for some special "pixie dust" where they'll sprinkle glitter over her head and have her make a special wish! You also could take her over to the
Royal Hall after she puts on her new gown to meet some of her favorite Disney Princesses and take some special photos.
I also recommend booking a special
dining reservation during your trip, a
character dining experience could be a memorable way to spend her birthday! We love to dine at Storytellers Cafe for Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet, or dance with our favorite Disney pals at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast or dinner. Another special option would be to explore the
World of Color Dessert Party. We were lucky enough to experience this during one of our recent trips, and it was such a special experience. You will receive a great view of the show, and a place to sit and relax with some delicious treats!
My final recommendation is to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park for a
complimentary birthday button your daughter can wear during your visit. The Cast Members can personalize it for her, and I'm sure she'll receive some special shout-outs throughout the week from Guests and Cast Members!
