    I have reservations at the Disneyland hotel for 2/27 and 2/28 2026. Are there any deals for park tickets if you stay at the hotel? Can you leave the park and return to t hotel during the day? Are there any half day tickets?

    Hi Leslie,

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I’m so excited to hear about your upcoming trip in February! Including a stay at any of the three Disneyland Resort hotels is a wonderful way to extend the magic. I’ve had the privilege of staying at all three hotels, and I can confidently say that each stay was a magical experience!

    If you’re looking for park ticket deals or hotel discounts, it’s always a good idea to check out the Special Offers & Discounts page on the official Disneyland website. Currently, there are three promotions for hotel discounts (subject to availability):

    * 25% off select stays from January 1 through May 21, 2026
    * 20% off select stays from January 1 through May 21, 2026, for Magic Key holders
    * Reduced rates for select stays from January 1 through December 31, 2026, for eligible U.S. Military members

    Hopefully, one of these promotions will help add a little extra magic to your stay!

    Guests visiting the Disneyland parks are always free to leave and return later in the day with a valid theme park ticket. Many Guests enjoy exploring the Downtown Disney District or heading back to their hotel for a rest (or a nap!). Since there are no half-day tickets, if you plan to arrive later in the day, you may want to consider spending time at your hotel or Downtown Disney first.

    Don't be afraid to use your park tickets, even on a half day. Some of my best park days have started at 4:00 p.m. If I stay until closing, that can still be an eight-hour visit!

    Be sure to look over the 2026 event calendar as well. During your trip, there will be some amazing events happening, including Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration and a Celebrate Gospel weekend. My fellow panelists and I had the chance to enjoy some of the entertainment, and it was incredible! There is so much to do and try, so make sure you study the Disney Parks' guide so you don't miss a thing!

    I hope this information is helpful, Leslie! If you have more questions or need tips for your upcoming trip, don’t hesitate to come back and ask us. We’d love to share more advice and sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your Disneyland Resort vacation!

    Happy planning!
