Heidi from OR Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have reservations to DIsneyland and California Adventure coming up the end of October for 5 days with a park hopper ticket. I have our son who is autistic and we have obtained the DAS pass. Apparently we can do this on line ahead of our arrival ?

    Welcome to planDisney, Heidi!

I’m so glad you stopped by because as a mom of an autistic child we greatly appreciated utilizing Disneyland Resort’s - Disability Access Service (DAS) during our recent visit. Heidi, you are correct about the online pre-registration for this accommodation with the DAS Advance.

The DAS Advance can take place anytime between 2-days and up to 30-days before your arrival, there are just a few things that you should have in place to facilitate the process in advance of your consultation, such as:
    1) Please link the theme park tickets of those in your travel party to your Disney account so that they can be on what I like to call the DAS Guestlist.
    2) Ensure that everyone in your travel party has Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations for each valid day of admission.
    3) Please make sure that your child will be present for the consultation – it’s very informal and the Cast Members are very friendly and understanding.
    4) Download the Disneyland Mobile App because you will be able to self-select DAS return times on the app once your child is registered.

A huge benefit of the DAS Advance is that you will be able to select, with the direction of a Cast Member two (2) one-hour return windows for select, and available experiences for each day of your valid theme park admission, in addition to the standard benefits of the DAS accommodation during your visit.

Heidi, at any time during your visit for any assistance, please visit a Guest Relations Lobby inside a theme park, stop by a Guest Experience Team kiosk located near attractions, or at an experience entrance. The registered DAS Guest or anyone in their travel party will be able to self-select a return time on the Disneyland Mobile App or request a DAS return time at an experience entrance, but at the point of redemption, the registered DAS Guest must be present at an experience entrance.

Kindly refer to Disneyland Resort’s – Services for Guests with Disabilities and in particular the Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities which may offer more ideas to best accommodate your child during your visit.

Heidi, it was an honor assisting you today, if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me here at planDisney – thank you so very much and have a fantastic visit at Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
