Do you still have to make reservations for Disneyland and California adventure ahead of time?

Cheryl, I hope you are well and excited about your upcoming vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Visiting Disneyland Resort requires a bit of advanced planning, as Guests will need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to see one or both parks. You may purchase tickets and secure a reservation online through the Disneyland Resort website.

If your plans change after purchasing your tickets and booking a reservation, you can cancel your original reservation and reschedule for a different day online as well.

Before I let you go, if you are thinking of purchasing a Park Hopper, which will give you access to both parks on the same day, you will need to select a starting park (i.e., the park you plan to start at). You will then be able to hop to the other park beginning at 1PM or later. Therefore, if you are planning for breakfast or an earlier lunch, I recommend deciding your starting park based on where you would like to have breakfast and lunch.

Have a magical time, and please come back to the planDisney Panel before your trip if there are more questions we can help you with.

    Happy planning,
