    I have reservations at a Disney resort If I purchase Disney magic bands other then the website and so it at the disneyshop.com do I still get the discount given for free solid colors and on certain other bands

    Thanks for your question. I love the convenience and "cool factor" of Disney's MagicBands. It is a one-stop shop for all your needs, conveniently sitting right there on your wrists. From resort hotel access, to theme park entrance, to dining, merchandising, charging, etc., it's everything a growing boy (or girl) needs to make their Disney experience exceptionally magical! :-)

    So the complimentary MagicBands (the ones at no cost) are only available when you select them through My Disney Experience at DisneyWorld.com or through the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you go to shopDisney.com to purchase those same solid colored MagicBands, they will come at a cost, so my recommendation is to make your selections via My Disney Experience to get the complimentary bands and save some money! :-) Now if there are certain custom MagicBands you're interested in, you can get selected ones through My Disney Experience for a slight discount than choosing the same MagicBands at shopDisney.com, so something to just bear in mind.
