Hi there, William!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney to discuss my favorite seasonal celebration, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays - Candlelight Processional! The narrative telling of the Biblical Christmas story accompanied by a choir and orchestra never fails to stir emotion and bring me to tears. I love how it feels like the Christmas Eve services I have come to know and love in my hometown but with the added holiday pixie dust only The Most Magical Place on Earth can provide. The
Disney Parks Blog reported earlier this year that the Candlelight Processional would be returning in 2024, but unfortunately, the dates and schedule of celebrity narrators are still forthcoming.
Because this one-of-a-kind celebration is so popular among Guests, you'll want to book a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package to guarantee your seat. Booking information is not yet available for this year's Candlelight Processional Dining Package, so I suggest keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the Walt Disney World Resort website and social media to be one of the first to know when details are released.
If you decide that the dining package doesn't work for your family's vacation, you will also have the option to join a standby queue for the Candlelight Processional. It is important to note that seating via the standby queue is not reserved and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so if a closer seat is important to you, then you'll want to either opt for the dining package or begin queuing early. In my opinion, the seat's location has never negatively impacted the experience, but the stress-free experience provided by the dining package is certainly a bonus.
I ho-ho-hope this is the information you were looking for, William. If not, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
