    Hello, We want to make reservations for dinner at the GCH craftsman bar on the day I plan to visit California adventure. We are not staying at the hotel, but are we able to eat here and return back to California adventure through the GCH entrance/exit?

    Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has some of the best dining on property. You’ve made a great choice in selecting GCH Craftsman Bar for dinner! It’s always a must for us when we visit the Disneyland Resort and I have a few recommendations from the menu that I think you’ll love. From the entrées, some of my favorites are the Poké Bowl, Baked Nachos, and the Flat Iron Steak Salad. From the Artisanal Pizzas, I recommend the Charcuterie Pizza and the Forest Mushroom Impossible Sausage Pizza. If you want to enjoy a specialty cocktail with your dinner the Grand Mai Tai and Tamarind Margarita are at the top of my list.

    On the day of your dining reservation, you do not need to be staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in order to use the entrance and exit for Disney California Adventure Park. This entrance and exit are typically only restricted when the park first opens in the morning and it’s busier than normal. I am so glad that you were able to get a dinner reservation because when the restaurant gets really busy, that area is only restricted for hotel guests, or guests with a dining reservation so you’re good to go!
